Married young and moved to the US. Completed a Ph.D and suffered infertility before becoming a parent. Went through a long separation and divorce after returning to India after 15 years. Changed my career track and rebuilt life as a single parent. Wrote a book about the experience and started a podcast to hold desi divorce discussions. Remarried in midlife, moved abroad and nurtured a blended family. My life is a mosaic of many broken pieces that are carefully assembled and now shines with variety, depth and optimism.
